Keep it simple. Every design choice, every feature follows one rule: if it doesn't need to be here, it won't be. The people using these tools have real questions and limited time. Delivering a fast, accurate answer comes before anything else.
Put the user first. We don't ask "wouldn't this be interesting to build?" We ask "what does someone actually need when they land on this page?" That shift changes how everything gets designed — from the layout of input fields to the way results are displayed.
Build it to last. Shipping a tool and moving on doesn't interest us. We listen to the people who use this site and keep improving — one small step at a time, for as long as it takes.
